Quentin loves tooth brushes (whether they are his or not). We always help him, but it is fun to watch him try.

Cole is a Cubbie

Wednesday was Cole's first night at AWANA. We all had dinner- that means Mai Yer, Jenny, Cole, Avery, Quentin, Bryan, and me, piled into the car and even made it on time. Cole told everyone he was a "Tubbie" by singing them the song and expecting them to guess it. He made a bag with his hand prints and was fabulous. Avery loved her class. She has already earned her book. Wow. She said she slipped during the game, but didn't get hurt. Overall it was a great evening.

Another visit with the Marchbanks

Last weekend we traveled to San Luis Obispo again to see our friends and help them move into their new house from the garage (where they were storing their stuff). We had fun, although I'm not sure how much help we were. I walked the kids to the park (where I took these pictures). It was hard to get shots while chasing around a very sleepy Quentin, but I tried. Bryan and Paul walked a queen size headboard down the road from the store to their house (I didn't get a picture of that, but really wish I had). We've all promised that next time we will play the whole time. It's fun watching how well the kids have reconnected and have loved playing together, and we've had a great time catching up with Paul and Tracey.

Cole loves to help Daddy outside with the mower. The other picture is Quentin "wearing" Cole's shoes. He thought it would be fun so he crawled around with them on his hands for a while. Surising since Cole's shoes are rather stinky.
